Exhausted Air Recycling System (E.A.R.S.) is a unique, award-winning system developed for Air Compressors and Tools to improve productivity and save energy
Over 95% of the energy used to produce the air in an air tool is wasted and exhausted out of the tool into the atmosphere. Furthermore, air tool exhaust is loud, dirty, stirs up dirt and dust, and often spreads dangerous materials, such as brake dust, into the air we breathe.
E.A.R.S. is a simple system both in concept and in execution: It provides a closed loop between the air compressor and the air tool by capturing the exhausted air from the air tool and returning it to the compressor. This closed-loop system generates more power using less energy.
- E.A.R.S. reduces energy costs by 50% or more.
- E.A.R.S. reduces noise levels up to 80%.
- E.A.R.S. produces a cleaner work environment as moisture and dust particles are not blown into the air.
- E.A.R.S. increases the life of the air compressor and air tools since recycled air is dryer, cleaner and cooler.
E.A.R.S. systems create real value in productivity and efficiency. With E.A.R.S, air tools operate for more than twice the continuous time as a non-E.A.R.S. system and recover in half the time. By using E.A.R.S. you can double the productivity of your existing compressor; running more power tools.

The key components of E.A.R.S. are:
- A special patented manifold system retrofitted to the air compressor
- A return air line from air tools to the air compressor
- Modified (new or retrofitted) air tools which send the exhausted air back to the air compressor.
These three components are all that is needed to create the closed loop system.
E.A.R.S. is appropriate and available for a wide range of facilities, from small shop applications to large factories with multiple compressors and hundreds of air tools.
