Gas Analyzers are generally viewed as large bench equipment, used solely for emissions testing to meet government standards. Additionally, there has been very poor training for technicians on the benefits of engine and exhaust system diagnostics with a Gas Analyzer. As a result, a Gas Analyzer is normally used below 1% of its real capacity. More than 95% of technicians are unaware of the correct and most effective use of a Gas Analyzer.
